On the date of May 15, 2018, Vietnam Air Catering Service Company (VINACS) was honored to be ranked second place and achieved silver medal at the Sky Delight Awards 2018 in Moscow, Russia. This competition was organized in the framework of Sky Service Forum Moscow 2018.

Sky Service Forum 2018 and Sky Delights Award 2018 were organized by Aeroflot - Russian national Airlines and Aeroma, Russian Catering Company. This world-class culinary competition was held in Moscow exclusively for 10 excellent chefs from top Catering Companies in the world like: Russia, France, Japan, India, Germany, Thailand, Egypt, Vietnam,… It is the opportunities for Chefs, on behalf of their catering companies, to present and introduce their local-traditional signature dishes and standard portion of international in-flight meals.

At the Sky Delights Award 2018 competition, Executive Chef Tran Van Ha and Head Chef Dinh Van Duc from VINACS presented dishes – typical, traditional and authentic Vietnamese food culture and international standard in-flight food portions.

These typically traditional Vietnamese dishes together with other in-flight standard portions were highly rated by the Board of Jury, including President of Worldchef Assocation, President of Russian Culinary Assocation … ; exellentlly overpassed other participants’ dishes to obtained second prize as a result.

Being honored and granted Silver Medal at a World-class Culinary Competition is the affirmation of the improvement, level and quality of VINACS in general as well as VINACS Chef skills and talent in particular.
