To ensure the safety of our employees and in accordance to Vietnam’s regulation regarding Fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations (FFR), on November 15th, 2024, Vietnam Air Catering Services Joint Stock Company (VINACS) had cooperated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit of Soc Son District Police to organize a fire-fighting and rescue drill at our facility at Noi Bai International Airport. The drill was organized with the purpose of ensuring safety in fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations, providing knowledge and skills to managers and staff members in accordance with the Vietnamese law.

Following the directives and guidance of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit of Soc Son District Police, the VINACS’s Fire Prevention, Rescue, and Disaster Prevention Command Board implemented the plan No. 224/KH-PCCC-VINACS dated November 4th, 2024, initiated by our General Director regarding the 2024 Firefighting & Rescue drill plan.

The FFR Team at VINACS conducted the training plan based on the Complex scenario 01 of the On-site Firefighting Plan, approved by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit of Soc Son District Police.
The fire-fighting and rescue drill aims to build and enhance the operational efficiency of the VINACS’s Fire Prevention, Rescue, and Disaster Prevention Command Board and the Fire Prevention, Rescue, and Disaster Prevention Team, in line with the principle of the “04 on-site” approach: on-site command, on-site forces, on-site equipment, and on-site supplies and logistics.

At the end of the drill, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit of Soc Son District Police held a final debriefing session for the unit. This session highlighted the critical importance of conducting fire-fighting and rescue drills in ensuring fire safety and rescue readiness. It helps the unit to enhance its proactivity in order to promptly handle and extinguish fires, minimizing the loss of life and property due to fires and explosions.
