Vietnam national football team has officially entered the third round of FIFA World cup Asia Qualifiers 2022 after making an emotional and brave fightback with home team – UAE in Group G. In Group G with highly rated teams in Asia and region as: UAE, Thailand, Malaysia having dream of participating in the final round for their first time, Vietnam national football team performed impressively, surpassing rivals and for the first time in history becoming one of most excellent team of twelve in Asia in third round to compete for 4.5 positions in the final round of FIFA World cup 2022-Qatar.
Overcoming many difficulties in series of matches and meals away from home being different in UAE, now the golden star warriors and coaching board have officially come back home on Bamboo Airways special charter flight; the whole team was served with Vietnamese traditional meals with an eye-catching, impressive decorations, surprising and emotionalizing the whole team.
During the matches in the UAE, the players and the coaching board would absolutely miss the homeland’s dishes so much. Understanding that, Vietnam Air Catering Services Co. (VINACS) and Bamboo Airways specialists have devoted all their heart, soul, passion for football and love for the national football team to design, prepare meals which would surprise the whole team, responding to the overwhelming joy that the team given to Vietnamese people in this great event. On the Bamboo Airways special flight back to Vietnam, the team enjoyed two delicious meals and nutritious drinks to quickly recover from a series of stressful matches.
The primary meal consists of two main courses: Chicken with rice and Fried Pho - familiar flavor that make "Vietnam’s signature dishes" being so popular with international friends. Soft and sweet chicken rice with lichee salad, lemon sauce bring full of nostalgia in the lichee season; meanwhile, the rich stir-fried Pho with salmon butter salad, a delicate combination of Asian and European help cooling the team's heart with novelty and deliciousness. These two dishes of "Vietnamese signature dishes" presented in a stylized way, with the center of which is the symbol of the red flag and a yellow star, the national flag of the Vietnamese nation, which has been meticulously trimmed by VINACS chefs, cleverly presented, which exalt the patriotism and national pride of the whole team and of the Vietnamese people when touching the eyes.

In this return journey, parallel to the main dishes, each player was served with a light meal: Hot plain rice flan “Bánh Đúc nóng” and Sandwiches with the highlight of the S-shaped symbol and Vietnamese islands, a sacred symbol of the country and territorial sovereignty. The “rural people food” but extremely traditional were meticulously and creatively researched by leading chefs at VINACS, bringing pride and patriotism. “Bánh Đúc nóng” and sweet, sour sauce presented with bread in red color from dragon fruit and pumpkin containing hometown flavor did warm the hearts and soften the players’ homesickness.

In recognition of the merits and efforts of each individual, the players and coaching board also received a magnificent dessert cake with their names and T shirt numbers on, along with colorful salad.

Not only on the this flight back to Vietnam, but also on the flight departed for UAE before, VINACS’s chefs had made the whole team surprised by the delicate and delicious meals which helped them have considerable performances in matches to achieve the above results.
